Salary:

R1 024 434 per annum plus commuted overtime benefits

Requirements:

  • Registered with the HPCSA as relevant Specialist
  • At least three years’ experience in the relevant field after registration as specialist
  • Teaching experience in medical pre- and postgraduate programmes
  • Interest in clinical research.

Duties:

  • Ensure clinical care of patients of the relevant department
  • Supervise designated clinical staff
  • Perform departmental administrative duties
  • Render after-hour on-call clinical services
  • Perform teaching and training of pre- and postgraduate students
  • Initiate and participate in clinical research.
